Old Business:

Silver Anniversary Committee - Commemorative pins and ribbons need to go to the Fun Day.  Every family who has come to the drives over the year will get a pin.  If they want more, the cost would be $7.00/pin.

Membership - Anyone who joins the club in the last quarter will get credit for the coming year.  We have heard that many equine-related clubs are hurting for members, whereas DDC is still healthy.

Safety Clinic - Crossman reported for Donna Thomas.  Twenty people paid to drive and six paid to audit.  Numbers were down quite a bit.  Food was catered.

Young Drivers Camp - Marilyn reported that the Wild Wind indoor arena is sufficient and there are 20 concrete stalls.  Lots of parking, well maintained, clean, the management seems good to work with.  We need to develop a committee of members that will help make decisions.  Marilyn will go with Myrna Rhinehart to West Wind.  Article in Coachman.  Sharon volunteered to be on the committee.  Other ideas are Wes Licht, Deb Bevan, and Marge Gettelman.  Jane Licht moved that the YDC will be in 2009, Membership Clinic in 2010, and Safety Clinic in 2011.  Marilyn Radtke 2nd.  MC.

History Scrapbook - Loren has not found slipcase binders yet.  Donna needs to recopy one year for Loren.  Loren will contact Donna on which year.

Correspondence from Sandra Faust of Three Gaits - thank you note for the recent donation for driving classes.

Sporting Day of Traditional Driving on Sept. 26 & 27 in Mineral Point.

New Business:

Didier's Fun Day/25th Anniversary Drive - Oct. 5 about 9:30 a.m., Chili Dump, bring chips or fixings, club will buy cake.  Donna will call Pat about details for lunch.  Mini Silent Auction needs to move towards the front of the hanger for more traffic.  Proceeds will go towards the general budget.  There will be cones, dressage and hazards.  Sharon to bring letters for dressage arena.  Donna to contact Suzanne regarding cones.  There will also be Past President memory speeches.  Port-a-potties needed, Roger will contact.

Pleasure Drives and membership status - Need to be more diligent about collecting Coggins papers and ensuring membership status.  Need to have a "Host" for a drive who collects paperwork.  Need to make blank membership cards to have at Annual Meeting that members can fill in.

Nominating Committee - Need to think of members for the board.  Marilyn will help with transitions for new Treasurer, accounts are at M&I Bank.
