Your DDC Board of Directors decided to offer a driving clinic for our members who wish to increase their driving knowledge and skill regarding various driving techniques, training and disciplines.

The last DDC Safety Clinic was held in May of 2008. The Safety Clinic is designed to promote driving safety for new drivers and for those who may be interested in learning more about care of the harness, selecting a horse-drawn vehicle, and training your horse to drive. This popular clinic also offers hands-on driving lessons. The next DDC Safety Clinic is scheduled for 2011. View information on the 2008 Safety Clinic from the General Archive on this website. Thanks to all involved for another great 2008 DDC Safety Driving Clinic! The participants were very attentive and asked lots of good questions. Thanks to all the DDC volunteers: Carol Pasbrig, Donna Thomas, Chet Thomas, Sharon Makurat, Donna Crossman, Pat Fitzgerald, Myrna Rhinehart, Chad Rhinehart, Cathy Thomas, Dan Soby, Suzanne Gillespie and Jane Licht. Thanks to Pat Fitzgerald for her presentation on starting a horse to drive. Thanks to all those who brought horses, vehicles and equipment. Without this tremendous support from DDC members, there would be no clinic.
